About Nicki McManus
Landscape and nature photography has always been my passion, even through my younger years. I became a professional equine photographer in the early 2000's, where my images were used in several national breed publications, and also in Horse Hollow Press books. My landscape work has been on display in multiple galleries and establishments here in the northeast tri-state region, and one, "River Geese", has appeared on the Today Show Travel website. My image "Wine Bottles", is hanging in a gallery aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. Currently I am a co-owner of a location portraiture company, do freelance photography for The Journal Group, and contribute to a web design company as a graphic designer. As the seasons blend from one into the other, you can find me out there somewhere in the landscape, in the early morning hours, doing what I love the best, capturing the beauty of it all, feeding my first passion.
